Why can't I use the calendar off the main site to pick my dates?

The calendar off the main page is for reference only.  The actual interactive calendar can only be accessed after you login.

Why can't I pick a date that has been blacked out?

If the date has been blacked out it simply means we already have enough people for that particular date.  However, If you have only that time, please see the next question.

What if the blackened out date is the only time I can volunteer to help?

If you have no other time to go other than a blacked out date, don't worry.  We still might be able to use you.  We can place you on a stand-by list.  If someone should cancel, we would then contact you and you may still be able to go.  When filling out the sign-up sheet, be indicate how much notice you need if a last minute change occurs.
